The opulent decoration of the ballroom became the backdrop for the bridal table, and the rich arrangements on the high round tables were the main dominant feature. A bar connected the main table to the dancefloor. All this was in perfect harmony with the frescoes and chandeliers of burnished gold.
As always, I was the master of ceremonies. There was time for a toast with the groom.
