During the wedding season, we started planning the photo editorial in a beautiful garden’s castle – Savoia, not far from Prague. There was a lot to prepare before photoshoot itself, many meetings with the florist, photographer and main actors – Olga, a model, and her husband Jakub. They make a beautiful couple together, for us, they represent pure love, trust and admiration of each other with a certain humility and other perfect things that we all search for. Olga is magnificent, she’ll entice you on first glance, but she’s also an amazing human being. Jakub is an elegant gentleman, one which every lady would want by her side.
You can feel a connection, thanks to them and the amazing Štěpán Vrzal. He poured his heart into our editorial and we would like to thank him for doing so!The bride’s look was really important here, that’s why we invited Martina Jagr to do come up with some natural-looking makeup and a beautiful, elegant hairstyle.
We borrowed the dress from the magical Le Monika salon, you can find some really beautiful and exceptional pieces where you wouldn’t find elsewhere. The ring was from a small Prague antique shop and the whole look was completed by none else than Jimmy Choo shoes and a clutch of the same brand name. The groom’s suit was lent to us from the Nuance salon, where you can find not only wedding dresses, but also suits for grooms, plus they can help you with the selection.
With Ellie, our florist, we made a wonderful little corner for the celebratory panel. The design was a spin on the Tuscan style. We wanted to achieve naturalness but wanted it to be exceptional at the same time. All of the crockeries were found on European flea markets, this evoked romanticness and originality. The cherry on top was the cake from PunkRockCakes and all print-related things from Spring Studio. The printed materials turned out being really good, despite our demanding assignment – hand-made paper, calligraphic font with a silk ribbon and a seal. We were really thrilled by their work and they helped us perfect the whole concept.
We were really happy with the end result – everything turned out fantastic. We had to postpone the photo shoot by a week due to bad weather, but thanks to that we were surely going to be luckier a week later.The garden was flooded with sunlight – from the sun setting down, everyone arrived in a great mood and with energy to put their best into their work. When we then got the photos from Štěpán, we couldn’t have been more ecstatic! We do hope you can see this as well, and that, maybe, it will serve as inspiration for your own wedding.
