The organization of not only the wedding event but also the transportation, lodging, and post-wedding brunch for all the guests was a difficult job while planning a dream wedding in 5 months in a place where all the wedding guests must travel, and half of the visitors must fly in. Lucie & Gary are beautiful couple living in Switzerland, we managed to plan the entire wedding in just a few months. We created an unforgettable experience for both the guests and the newlyweds. Lucie is originally from the Czech Republic and Gary is from the United States, so they had to choose the perfect location for the wedding that would be easily accessible for everyone. When they first visited Villa dom Carli, it was a clear choice. A romantic place in Tuscan style, ideal for a smaller wedding.
Since the wedding was at the end of May, the bride chose a trendy Gracy Kelly style dress with long sleeves, a long veil and a beautiful beaded headband that added a real touch to the whole outfit. The groom’s accessories matched with the wedding bouquet.
And here the bridesmaids with the bride enjoying the preparations in the wedding suite, there was certainly no shortage of champagne or refreshments. The bridesmaids had matching robes, and the ladies thoroughly enjoyed getting ready, with constant bursts of laughter echoing from their room.
Just a few minutes before the ceremony, there was a photo shoot of the bride and her bridesmaids, each of them holding a flower inspired by the wedding bouquet. The green color of the dress perfectly contrasted the pink tones of the wedding.
The bride chose designer high heels from Manolo Blahnik, a well-known shoe designer. It’s a great, fresh alternative to the equally popular wedding shoes from Jimmy Choo.
The color palette consisted of shades of pink and menthol. All printed matter played with these colors. The logo of the newlyweds or the design box for the newlyweds were custom-made.
The wedding arch was made of three high semi-circles decorated with rich floral arrangements. The white carpet added spark to the overall look. This was the intended variant, but due to adverse weather conditions the pink background had to be removed.
Lounge zones are popular primarily among guests, the carpets make the space cozy and add spice to the whole wedding. We chose furniture in shades of color and added cushions.
Wedding bouquet according to the latest trends. Several types of flowers loosely tied together with a decorative ribbon. The bouquet perfectly complemented the bride’s lace dress and enhanced her elegant style.
The ceremony was translated into English so that everyone could understand it. The couple promised each other faithfulness and love, and the priest could solemnize their marriage. All the guests were moved to tears.
The festive corridor was accompanied by energetic music and chanting guests blowing bubbles. Bubbles have several advantages, they look great and don’t leave a mess behind, and they won’t stain anyone’s clothes. It’s such a wedding classic.
The photo shoot of the newlyweds with the groomsmen was already taking place, followed by the portraiture of the newlyweds, which they both enjoyed very much.
The wedding reception corresponded with tones of pink supplemented with mint. The rich floral decoration stood out in the main hall of Villa dom Carli. Originally we wanted to place the banquet in a tent, but in the end we chose the main hall due to the weather, which turned out to be a great idea. For 50 guests, the main hall is absolutely ideal, and the reception looked very cozy.
Of course, we also matched the colors of the wedding.
First, we seated the guests and waited for the arrival of the newlyweds, the so-called Grand Entrance. The guests chanted to the rhythm and there was a great mood in the hall, followed by speeches and toasts.
No wedding is complete without a sweet corner. A delicate cake decorated with flowers, wonderful macaroons or tartlets. Everything matches perfectly. The macaroons were so divine that they were basically gone in no time.
Cutting the wedding cake is a favorite activity of the guests and the newlyweds. The newlyweds did not mess with it! They danced at the cutting and we all enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and then enjoyed the cake.
At the wedding reception, there were three menu options, which the guests could choose in advance, and these are a few examples. A three-course menu was served and a wedding cake was served as a dessert.
There was a little time left after the banquet, so the newlyweds used it for portrait photography, while the guests relaxed in the lounge zone, which we moved closer to the main hall.
Another lounge area was located in front of the entrance to the main hall where guests could sit and relax from the big party going on inside.
Excellent food was a must, the local catering prepared amazing dishes. An OFYR grill, salad bowls and more were placed outside. The catering was provided by the family company Stellate catering and their food was delicious, the banquet was incredibly diverse.
The evening kicked off in style. Our new project DISCO BAR was a huge success and everyone had a great time. We hired professional dancers who first stirred up the atmosphere and then rehearsed a simple choreography with the guests.
