The concept of Provencal love and romance was created especially for Anetka and Adam. Both are originally from the Czech Republic but have been living in the UK for some time. We organized their wedding at Villa Dom Carli. The color palette for the engagement day included lavender, light pink, white, green, silver, light gray and cream.
In the marquee, there was also a corner with unique gifts, where guests could mix their own blend of herbs, scented bath salts, glass jars, or homemade soaps into printed cones with delicate flower designs and the names of the newlyweds according to their own choice. Pre-prepared gift bags were also displayed in the booth for those who did not wish to combine the gifts themselves
A lounge zone with a dance floor awaited the wedding guests in the garden near the entrance area. The cutting of the cake and the newlyweds’ first dance took place in the lounge area. The zone was used for the welcome cocktail and also the after-party after the wedding reception. The musical duet “Twenty minutes” with amazing temperamental singers and a DJ stirred up the guests to wild dances. After 10 p.m., the guests had to move to the inner hall due to the noise.
The wedding reception took place in a decorated wedding marquee. The gray carpet covered the floor, candlesticks and cut glass stood on oblong tables with cream tablecloths, silver cutlery and linen napkins lay next to white plates. Wooden chairs with wicker backs matched the decor perfectly. Each table was richly decorated with flowers, and the middle tables were dominated by a waterfall of hanging flowers.
Before the start of the wedding reception, there was an impressive grand entrance of parents and newlyweds. This was followed by the speeches of the parents, and between each course the speeches of the closest relatives and friends continued.
The whole wedding was full of beautiful flowers, especially peonies, roses, hydrangeas, freesias, chrysanthemums and lavender. The pastel colors of the wedding bouquet, including the silk white ribbon, matched the overall floral decoration. The bride wore a white romantic dress with a veil and her bridesmaids wore lavender silk dresses, which further highlighted the togetherness of the lilac colors. The groom and his groomsmen in gray suits with white shirts tastefully contrasted with their counterparts.
The ceremony was held in the garden on a small stage used for wedding ceremonies. White chairs were arranged in a semi-circle to replicate the round shape of the small stage. The huge wedding ring as a symbol of infinity was richly covered with flowers. The aisle for the betrothed, sprinkled with petals, was again lined with beautifully arranged flowers. After the ceremony, congratulations followed, and then the wedding guests blew bubbles from bubble blowers at the newlyweds walking down the aisle. The whole wonderful atmosphere made for some fantastic photos.
In the evening, guests could have refreshments both in the outdoor areas and in the indoor ballroom. Comfortable sofas with armchairs encouraged them to sit and relax and the dance floor was open for everyone.
The exquisite wedding cake, with handwritten calligraphic text with a message from the newlyweds and decorated with silver leaf, had four layers and was decorated with lavender and pink shades of flowers. Meanwhile, guests were served a sweet bar with special provincial sweets, especially macaroons.
